DARTZ is a company with rich history and traditions which started at 1869 in Riga, Latvia, then - Russian Empire. At DARTZ we are proud to be the market leader in the opulent cars segment and are trusted by billionaires, royalties and sheiks alike.
History
Our roots date back over hundred years and are to be found in the historical RussoBalt in Riga, Latvia. We continue the craftsmanship and traditions of making luxury armored cars and think about our great grandfathers, the original manufacturers of armored vehicles, when we put our cars together. It is this sense of tradition and heritage, that our handcrafted cars are truly unique and has the epitome of luxury, along with a SPIRIT OF HEROES. We are talking about heroes who won the 1912 rally in Monte Carlo; heroes who made the longest way to victory; heroes who were the first to fight inside Russian armored cars; heroes who drove first Russian tank, the Porohovschikova. We are also proud that RussoBalt is also famous for its engineering - Igor Sikorsky, the man who invented the helicopter. Igor was also part of the RussoBalt team and his spirit lives in all of our cars. DARTZ is committed to keep great traditions alive.
Future
DARTZ is famous for its luxury armored cars but has been involved in several projects where customers have had specific requests that benefited from having the expertise from DARTZ, and its visionary minds, in order to make it possible. At 2013 DARTZ launched next project - seaplanes and helicopters - as we have to follow traditions, like also moved from armor to just opulence, as market need it.
