100-aastases elektrijaamas Tallinna südames sähvivad välgunooled ka päikselisel päeval! Energia avastuskeskuses on juba tuntud Eestis ainulaadse välgudemonstratsiooni poolest. Keskuse planetaariumis on aga ka võimalik uudistada avakosmost ja reisida kaugetele planeetidele. Avastuskeskuse 130 interaktiivset eksponaati tutvustavad energeetika ajalugu, füüsikalisi nähtuseid ja eelkõige seda, kui põnev võib olla teadus. Avasta, mängi, õpi!

There’s lightning in the air at the 100-year-old power plant and modern science centre in the heart of Tallinn. Energy Discovery Centre features daily lightning shows unique in Northern Europe, static electricity demonstrations, over 100 hands-on exhibits, and Planetarium screenings. Learn about electricity, the history of energy production, and have fun with different physical phenomena.

Energy Discovery Centre is open daily – from 10 am till 7 pm on weekdays and from 11 am till 7 pm on weekends. All the instructions to the exhibits are in English, Finnish and Russian as well as Estonian. The Planetarium features films narrated in all four languages. The lightning and static electricity demonstrations are performed in Estonian, Russian and English.

The Centre is a 5-minute walk from both Tallinn Old City Harbour and Tallinn Old Town. Look for the big yellow building – that’s us!
